That's what I did, last year. I was in mid-pendemic-growout, and, honestly, I've been over it with the coloring for years now. My housemate, who does a weekly video show, and goes through hours of coloring and spackling to look 30-40-ish, was horrified. You can't go grey! Video is forever!

I remember thinking, "So what?" but then she brought home a box full of boxes of hair color. Aargh.

So I have been coloring my longish hair once again. I am so. bloody. over. it. And, much to myh housemate's chagrin, your article has inspired me to cease the cave-in during my cooped up cave experience, and just go for it!

I've had the Bonnie Raitt thing going on every 3-4 weeks for years now. Why not continue?
