This begs a thoughtful answer, so please bear with me. {apologies for the length}

In my experience, once the peace and light sustains itself in the heart, it begins to take over. I had to let that happen. Our bodies hold egoic patterns just like our minds. Once the mind lets go, that does not create, or did not for me, a ‘full’ enlightenment as it was described to me my my teachers. there are stages one goes through. I experienced the ever-present peace and illumination, and still do, but there are layers of various types of patterning to be worked through. Those who state that this can simply be done through meditation are, in my humble opinion, not exactly incorrect, but that is the very long path. Meditation is essential, but on its own, without a method {there are many} of processing what comes up, is not enough.

These remaining patterns are the “more.” And, there are increasing frequencies, or bandwidths of light that move through and integrate, the more we surrender into the process. This is especially so when we are dedicated to being an embodiment of Source.

I have watched several people attain what we call enlightenment, only to have layers of shadow implode through their fields, causing all kinds of mischief, mostly to them.

The early stages of enlightenment are the trickiest. There is still what I call “spiritualized ego” present. It is interested in two things: its own survival, and the ‘juice’ of being right. I often tell my students that, when they are feeling “But, I’m right about this!” that is spiritualized ego. Sometimes it is still personal ego as well, depending on where that person is in their evolution.

Evolution of consciousness does not stop with enlightenment. It is not a graduation, but a commencement. There is deepening that occurs. That is what I meant by writing “There is always more.”

There is a tradition of “full cellular enlightenment,” which could also be called embodiment. This fluid state of being is now more available than ever, and it is shifting as Gaia and the cycles shift. I wonder how long we will continue to use the term “enlightenment” ?
