Amelia asked the question, as my housemate popped her head out to wish me a happy day.
Amelia is the Divine Feline in residence, and, while she is thoroughly fluent in human-speak, appreciates clarity of interpretation. Unlike other felines I have known, she does not deign to form human sounds. She does ‘mowp’ in response to ‘hello’ but that is the extent of her interest.
